Class Objective
- Level 2 (Perch) is designed to continue building on the teachings of Level 1, introduce and strengthen independence, and introduce more advanced swim techniques
Teaching Goals

- Water safety
- Basic leg and arm movement in water
- Roll over front to back
- Roll over back to front
- Controlled breathing
- Streamline and glides with breathing
- Introduction to treading
Qualifications To Advance
- Roll front to back and back to front
- Unsupported jump in the water to a back float
- Unsupported jump in the water and get back to the wall
- Kick off the wall and streamline with breathing and kicking for 10 yards front
- Kick off the wall and streamline with kicking 10 yards back
- Tread water for 10 seconds
